Turistička fešta - Tourist fest
On the first weekend in September, Tar becomes the center of entertainment and great gastronomic offers. The Tourist festival in Tar was held for the first time in the mid-seventies and is one of the longest-running and most visited festivals in Istria. The first festival was held the end of the tourist season as a kind of gratitude to the tourists who stayed in our territory and since then it has been held in an almost unchanged format until today. The two-day program is full of fun, cultural, sports and gastronomic contents. The tourist festival is also known for the traditional donkey race, and for the presentation of autochthonous Istrian activities and souvenirs.
