Funtana
About the destination
Funtana is a picturesque coastal town located between Poreč and Vrsar, formed around natural springs whose water never runs dry, which is also the origin of its name (fountains). Once a fishing village, today it is a popular small tourist destination known as the “most touristic small town on the Adriatic”, with a rich offer of taverns, camps, hotels and family-friendly content.
What to expect?
In Funtana you can enjoy relaxed days on pebble and rocky beaches surrounded by pine forest, ideal for swimming from May to October. Culture is present at every step, while summer fishing festivals in the harbour, concerts in the church of St Bernard and various gastronomic events reflect the Mediterranean way of life. For families with children, Dinopark Funtana is especially attractive, a theme park with moving dinosaurs, rides, adrenaline attractions and children’s entertainment zones.
