Here you can find all the important information on how to reach the Poreč Riviera. Whether you are arriving by plane, car or boat, below you will find useful information and links to help you and make your journey easier.
If you are arriving by plane
The nearest airport is Pula Airport (PUY), located between 40 and 60 km away, depending on your final destination on the Poreč Riviera. Direct shuttle buses (FILS and Brioni) operate to Poreč, Tar-Vabriga and Funtana, while private transfers, taxis or car rental are the best options for reaching Vižinada and Kaštelir-Labinci.

If you are arriving by car
The Poreč Riviera is excellently connected by road. Follow the A9 motorway (Istrian Y) and use the Medaki exit (for Funtana), Baderna (for Poreč, Vižinada, Kaštelir-Labinci) or Nova Vas (for Tar-Vabriga). All destinations are well signposted and easily accessible from the main routes.

If you are arriving by bus, train or boat
Poreč, Tar-Vabriga and Funtana are accessible via numerous regional and international bus routes from Zagreb, Rijeka, Ljubljana, Trieste and Venice (Arriva, Brioni, FlixBus). Vižinada and Kaštelir-Labinci are most easily reached by local bus from Poreč or by private transfer. The nearest railway station is in Pazin, which can be reached by train from Ljubljana. During the summer season, a catamaran service also connects Venice and Poreč.

Public transport (taxi, local buses)
Local bus routes connect Poreč with the surrounding destinations, including Tar-Vabriga, Funtana, Vižinada and Kaštelir-Labinci. Taxis and pre-arranged transfers are available throughout the year, while ride-sharing services (such as Bolt and seasonal Uber) and car rental services are also convenient options.
