Cultural and artistic events

Every Wednesday during July and August, the lapidarium of the Poreč Heritage Museum is dedicated to jazz music. For more than a quarter of a century, local and foreign jazz musicians and enthusiasts have enjoyed it here together. Every Friday throughout the entire summer, one of the oldest classical music festivals in Croatia takes place in the unique setting of the Euphrasian Basilica.

Do not miss the Street Art Poreč festival, where the entire city becomes a stage for free spirits and various artistic expressions. Events in honor of ballerina Carlotta Grisi in Vižinada alternate with plays, poetry, and musical gatherings at the old cistern. The Cultural Summer program in Funtana brings concerts, exhibitions, and stage events every year, as well as Ex Tempore outdoor artist meetings. Tar-Vabriga will delight with events such as the wizard festival, meetings of klapa vocal groups, and open-air movie screenings.

During the winter holidays, the center of activity is Advent in Poreč, which transforms the city into a true winter fairy tale with a free ice rink, a rich gastro offer, and cheerful concerts. For those seeking the warmth of tradition and a more intimate atmosphere, Funtana, Tar-Vabriga, Kaštelir-Labinci, and Vižinada offer an authentic experience of Istria.
