Parenzana, once a narrow gauge railway line, is today a favourite hiking and cycling route intertwined with tunnels, viaducts and hidden viewpoints, and nearby you will also find the Baredine Cave, which you can visit with a guide and see the endemic olm inside. If you enjoy exploring the underground world, be sure to visit the Mramornica Cave and Feštinsko kraljevstvo Cave as well. The beauty of the Lim Channel, 35 km long, is also unmissable, where you will find the magical Kontija forest, a special reserve of forest vegetation, as well as the Mukaba hillfort with the remains of a prehistoric settlement and a viewpoint.
