Poreč is also home to Poreč Dolphin, the largest swimming marathon in Croatia, which has grown into a festival of water sports and for a quarter of a century has gathered thousands of sea lovers. Here the sea also brings different gastronomic and adventurous experiences. Poreč is known as a destination where the largest and best tuna in the Adriatic is caught and eaten. That is why the area offers a wide range of big game trips, as well as the largest Croatian big game fishing tournament.
