Istrian Assembly Hall
One of the important questions in the business world is where to organise congresses, seminars, symposia, business meetings and gatherings in an environment that is calm and comfortable on one hand, and professionally and technically flawless, while on the other offering sufficient relaxation, recreation, cultural and gastronomic enjoyment. The answer to your question is Poreč, the tourist gem of the Adriatic. The clean Adriatic Sea, preserved and lush vegetation, arranged vineyards and olive groves create an inspiring backdrop for your business success. Hotels in Poreč are equipped with top quality halls and meeting rooms, high quality sound systems and projection equipment, and alongside this there is an indispensable rich hospitality offer of restaurants including cocktails, banquets and gala dinners. An additional advantage is proximity to Central Europe and main transport routes. Motorways, railways and airports are all within less than sixty kilometres.
The Istrian Assembly Hall, located in the very centre of the old town (Ul. Matka Laginje 6), is an original Franciscan Gothic church from the 13th century, whose interior acquired Baroque stylistic features during the 18th century. It once served as the seat of key participants of the national revival, as well as active museum activity, while for decades it has been a venue for numerous cultural and artistic projects of musical, stage and visual character, among which the Poreč Annale stands out for its representativeness and continuity, joined by numerous significant individual and group exhibitions actively promoting the local and international art scene.
