Trail Faragude – Kontija (162)
The first part of this short MTB tour leads through Festigia, one of the largest vineyards in Istria. Along the road, we can find Faragude, old resting places, that make good spots for short sightseeing breaks.
Along the road, we can find Faragude, old resting places, that make good spots for short sightseeing breaks. Probably the nicest part of the tour is the ride through Kontija, protected Park Forest. Wide forest roads and narrow trails lead us through shady woodlands to the slopes of the Lim bay.
The trail leads us through the closed sleeves of the still active Kirmenjak quarry and connects with the MTB trail 146. Folowing the trail we will arrive to the bike park on the St. Becic hill. Here you will find the XC routes of the Poreč cycling club on really nice paths around the mountain. You have the possibility to make same rounds around the hill.
On the end the trail will lead us over the village Fuškulin back to Funtana.
